Pepperdine starts with a view most venues charge for. The trade-off is that Malibu itself has limited event capacity, so chapters either book the few local options very early or accept a coach ride down the coast toward Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

Pacific Coast Highway is the whole transport plan. It is beautiful, it is slow, and on a Friday evening it can double a journey, so buses need to leave earlier than anyone expects.
