FIU chapters have all of Miami available without paying Coral Gables proximity for it. Brickell and the beach are twenty to thirty minutes away, and the areas closer to campus price considerably below the waterfront.

Miami's high season and formal season are the same months, so venue and hotel pricing peaks precisely when chapters need it. Moving a formal a few weeks either side of the peak can change the number materially.
