Prescott · Arizona
Greektopia plans formals, bid days, date parties and parents weekends for sorority and fraternity chapters at Embry-Riddle.
Prescott is a smaller market than Phoenix or Tucson, which changes the maths. There are fewer large venues nearby, so Embry-Riddle chapters either book their local options early or plan a short trip, and both work if the decision is made in good time.
Where Chapters Go
historic downtown venues and resorts within minutes of campus
about an hour away
roughly an hour and 45 minutes south, the full resort market
about an hour and a half north
Distances are approximate and given as a planning guide.
A smaller local market means less slack. When a chapter waits, the realistic options do not narrow gradually, they disappear, and the fallback becomes an hour and a half of coach travel each way.
For most chapters we recommend booking a formal four to six months out, and earlier for a peak spring Saturday. Bid day and date parties need four to six weeks. Our guide to how far in advance to book explains what drives those numbers.

Destination formal weekends, primarily for fraternity chapters.
Contracts, deadlines, budget and messages in one place your whole exec board can see.
Yes, for most chapter sizes, but the supply is limited and books early. Larger chapters often travel toward Phoenix.
About an hour and 45 minutes, which is a comfortable coach trip for an evening event.
Earlier than a Phoenix chapter would. Five to six months is sensible when the local options are finite.
